Seven Hill’s 2025 Summer is inviting kids to come and join us for The Round Up…the Fruits of the Spirit. Our young “ranch hands” will be working next to, with and on horses to build a vital foundation of safe and positive experiences for both horse and child. Each week ranch hands will be learning about the Fruits of the Spirit, applying them to their horsemanship skills, and assisting with ranch chores. Children will learn and embrace how the nine virtues of the Fruits of the Spirit will not only help them with the horse, but are essential for relationships in life.
Fruits of the Spirit (described in Galatians 5:22-23):
Love–a deep and selfless affection for others, including enemies, as well as a love for God.
Joy—a deep and abiding sense of happiness and contentment, even in difficult circumstances
Peace–a tranquility of heart, mind, and soul, even in the midst of turmoil
Patience–the ability to wait calmly and with endurance, especially in difficult or trying times
Kindness–a compassionate and thoughtful nature towards others, showing empathy and caring behavior
Goodness–a moral uprightness, a desire to do what is right and just in all aspects of life.
Faithfulness–a steadfastness and loyalty to God and to others, keeping promises and upholding one’s commitments.
Gentleness– a meekness and soft manner, demonstrating humility and kindness in dealings with others.
Self-Control–the ability to manage one’s emotions and desires, demonstrating restraint and discipline.
These sessions are offered for free, out of all the goodness Jesus has given us. We are hoping to serve kids that have been dealt a hard hand in their young life: the ones who are going through a difficult season, struggle to feel confident in school, or just need a space to exhale and get rooted. We are not therapists or professionals of any type, but just believers who have big hearts and a handful of horses.
If we are that place for you, then please use the RSVP link to sign your child up. By signing up, you are reserving that day and time slot for the entirety of our 6-week summer session and agreeing to our terms of use as indicated on our sign up form.
